For more than four decades, our founder has been greeting callers with a warm smile and a helpful tone. Starting her career as a professional PA and office manager, she built a reputation for making people feel heard, supported, and genuinely valued every time they got in touch.
That passion for people and service naturally evolved into something bigger.
After 20 years of hands-on experience, she co-founded a busy decorating business with her husband, Ian. As the business grew, so did the pressure. Ian spent his days up ladders and his evenings buried in admin. Calls were missed, paperwork piled up, and it became clear that something needed to change.
Drawing on her 20 years of experience, she set out to create a better solution.
That’s how The Office Genie was born, a service built on professionalism, personality, and truly human customer care. Over the years, it has gone on to win awards for its magical service and five star call handling.
And now, another 20 years later, that same ethos has been reimagined for the modern world.

Genie Jacqui Chief Genie, Founder
Over 20 years ago, Chief Genie Jacqui used all the experience from 20-years as a PA and Office Manager to found The Office Genie and The Salon Genie. Her Genies deliver magical service day in, day out for all clients. She says “It’s all about going the extra mile to WOW our callers”.
Three things you didn't know about Jacqui:
- When she was younger, she wanted to be a ballerina!
- Her favourite Disney film isn’t Aladdin - it’s Mary Poppins
- Her favourite colour is genie pink, but genie purple is a close second
Genie Katie 'Making it Happen Genie' - Operations Coordinator
As a return to work mum, Katie was previously a medical receptionist in a surgery so has a vast experience of juggling appointments and dealing with upset callers. Having worked her way up to Senior Client Experience Genie, Katie knows what it takes to pass great quality calls and wow our callers. She has now taken the step into Operations where she will be onboarding our clients and supporting them through our partnerships.
Three things you didn't know about Katie:
- If she could be an animal, she would be a Ring Tailed Lemur.
- As our early bird genie, opening up every day, Katie’s warning label would say "stay away if not caffeinated" so we programme the urn to be on for when she arrives 😊
- The most unusual things she has ever eaten are Shark, Swordfish and Crocodile – think she likes dangerous animals
Genie Reihanna Marketing Assistant Genie
Before joining The Office Genie, Reihanna was in full time education and left the second year of college to start a Digital Marketing and AI Apprenticeship with Jacqui and The Genies. Starting this job with little marketing experience was hard however, there is a vast amount of training available to help her develop into the role.
Three things you didn't know about Reihanna:
- Favourite Disney movie is Tinkerbell because it's such a feel-good film.
- Her goal is to start her own photography business, specialising in weddings.
- Reihanna likes all types of cars, from attending classic car shows to watching F1 at Silverstone.
